Pretty damning Talking Points article. I normally take GOP statements with a grain of salt, but it sounds like Cawthorn was really out of his depth at these parties.

In all fairness, I suspect this is actually the most likely story here.
I mean, even if a bunch of old Republicans were having coke orgies, which is really as likely as not, does anyone think they’d invite Madison Cawthorne?
Everyone knows he’s an idiot… And an idiot in a wheelchair isn’t exactly the guy you are thinking will be a prime addition to an orgy, no offense to folks in wheelchairs.

Wait I just read the thing about “Chinese research chemicals”… What is that even talking about? It’s that McCarthy saying that Cawthorne mistook some other drug for cocaine? But was still doing weird drugs?
Or that he was in some location where they didn’t have drugs at all, but he saw powder and thought it was drugs they were doing?
