I wondered the same thing. Sounds like a bullshit cover story!

P.S. Comic sans is growing on me.

I believe they have an ointment for that.

I doubt that people were snorting experimental Chinese drugs. But I also don’t doubt that the halls of government aren’t at least somewhat inhabited by partiers high on newfound power. I would think it would be the junior members and the staffers that invited him along, not Mitch McConnell.

I’m not one to say that elected representatives don’t know how to party. They most assuredly do. Most of my friends in politics are the most degenerate heavy drinkers I know. But a person who manages to get elected to federal office knows how to keep that shit on the down low. There’s a public appearance for public functions and there’s private things that happen behind closed doors with close friends. And the private stuff isn’t even all bad, but nobody wants to see their private stuff in the national media the next morning so there’s an unwritten rule about sharing the private stuff in public. Crossing that line is a bigger no-no than crossing party lines or criticizing party leadership.

My guess is that Wheels is gonna get primaried real hard. Poor guy. :P

And it seems that Trump will have him at his next grift rally. Of course he will.

So the Republican worst nightmare is living in a mixed-use walkable neighborhood with convenient public transit? Interesting.

What I got from that was, democrats want you to live with POC. And that sucks. Because they are criminals.

And, they think that the only people who do live this way are poor.

He is. He’s gonna be running against his own party too, which might work.

He pissed off the state GOP by switching seats and screwing over Tim Moore (leader of NC State House, who was gerrymandering himself a seat in the House)

All moot in the end, and it led to Jeff Jackson likely getting a seat in the House at least for 2 years (best case scenario for him) which allows me to evaluate him further.

Republican orgy = hired a bunch of desperate prostitutes and made them sign NDA’s.

Well that should clear things up.

This has me pretty much furious tonight. We all know the actors, but the effectiveness of the results (so far) partially explain what is going on in the polls.

TIL Frontline has a YouTube channel. šŸ’–

ā€œWashington is an incredibly corrupt place, which is why I want to be there and why you sent me there,ā€ is perhaps not the message he thinks it is.

ā€œWhen I do bad things, its the fault of other people who also control me nowā€
- the party of personal responsibility

There’s controversy because the GOP might do lines, not because they are systematically subverting democracy and burning the planet for personal profit.

This is why we, as a species, are doomed.

Now this was good take on the stupid don’t say gay bill.

Republicans gonna boycott all things Disney the way gamers boycott Call of Duty games.
