McConnell is evil but also very capable. I think the Republicans would be foolish to swap him for Scott.
Scott’s the guy that basically wants to gut Social Security. He’s a bigger dick than McConnell. McConnell’s just been chief Senate villain due to his leadership position.

He betrayed the God Emperor, so now he must be destroyed.
It’s basically a power grab between the Trumpster faction and remnants of the Old Guard.
Thing is McConnell is better at this than they are and all their hopefuls that might have swayed the numbers just got their asses kicked.
