This bubbled up to the top of my Netflix queue and I watched it last night. Interesting movie, which I had never seen before. I had know idea who Hurricane Carter was, although he apparently had a lot of popular support in the sixties.
Denzel makes everyone seem likeable, no matter what their role in life. If Hollywood ever does a biopic on me, I want Denzel to get the lead (or Tom Chick).
What was up with those crazy Canadians in this movie, crossing the boarder to rescue various American black men? There was a disclaimer in the begining of the movie about some characters being made up, but I can’t believe they made up these guys. That’s so odd it has to the truth.
