Can they serve stronger beers there? Its been a decade since I was there, but I remember the alcohol/bar scene being very weird there.
No idea! But they distribute this very strong double IPA to my local sin merchant, I know that much.

I know this is the I’m currently drunk thread, but I had a good drunk weekend (I know I am a little late)!
The drinks of choice were nothing special and quite generic (Miller Lite and a little Jack Daniels), but I had a good weekend of drunk gambling that was a nice surprise for once. Friday night gained + $101 betting on the Oilers to win and Steph/Luka to shoot a bunch of 3s and while watching the hockey game, turned $50 into $135 playing poker. Sunday evening after the golf I logged into my Fanduel to realize I bet on JT to win late Sat night with a $25 bet at +3100 odds and pulled down a nice $800. I totally forgot that and was a nice surprise!
Hey nothing wrong with making money WHILE drinking. Sounds like a fun night, Kelan. :)
That Justin Thomas comeback and then playoff to win was legendary. Like, more exciting that anyone even thought it would be.

I sort of wish I knew I had the bet active while the golf was on as it would have indeed been exciting, but on the other hand I probably would have cashed the bet out early and not made nearly as much!
Hello drunkess, my old friend. I have to be the boss in the morning in the end.
I forsee an early nap in my future and no actual work being done.
My wife got me a magnet last Christmas it says “I’m working from home, but as a bartender”. It’s been true ever since Covid hit, I was never much of a drinker but man am I enjoying my spirits these days. Especially since retirement. Nothing beats kicking back in the afternoon with an alcoholic beverage and realizing that if you do end up falling asleep and taking a little nap there’s nothing wrong with that!

When I drink, and I do, I feel positivity about the January 6th committee. The the doom sayers swarm the thread. And it depresses me. So I drink more. Fuck the doom sayers. Can we have some positive vibes, Moriarty?
I am on vacation this week. This means two things. First, I get to make a fishing trip to the Black River for the first time in a decade and a half with some old friends. There’s a “wildlife stories” post about that place around here somewhere. Love it there. Second, until I leave, day drinking is a go! I repeat, day drinking is go!
