This is a mystery to me. If I think to myself that I love my mug, I look at it with appreciation and experience the happiness the mug gives me. If I drop my mug, I am experience sadness at my loss (and self-loathing at my clumsiness). What I don’t think in either case is “Everyone must know!”

Even aside from the over-sharing, I don’t really get it. Is there some joke I’m missing there?

I think it’s a combination of over-sharing and that there’s some irony that she breaks it moments after sharing her mug photo. That doesn’t mean either one is terribly funny.
