Oddly enough, Jewish Atheist isn’t an oxymoron. It doesn’t mean what they think it means, but it exists. It refers to someone who thinks of themselves as Jewish, much as I think of myself as being a Norwegian American, even though they don’t believe.
It can also mean someone who specifically rails against silly stuff in Judiasm because they have the most direct experience with that. Asimov spends a little time discussing that in his autobiography, since he considered himself a Jewish Atheist for that specific reason.
Ah okay, so it’s more like a racial/peoples thing (quite literally).

Is there a source for these born-again, anti-Jewish Atheist Christians? My gut instinct says it’s fake. Then again, I have a hard time fathoming all the batshit people in the world.
That’s my automatic assumption with anything posted in the Image Macro thread. It’s a place for, among other things, posting photos of known cranks and putting text on them that mocks them. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a real photo of people stating their real beliefs in this thread.
Which is why I don’t get this particular photo. I don’t know these guys. The text is so dopey and the photo just dorky enough that I assume it’s a put-on. But of whom, specifically? Aside from all dipshits who use phrases like “Zionist Occupation Government” and mean it. In which case, they’re not nearly stupid enough in appearance.

Leads credence to the thought that this is just a “funny” pic that someone added some ridiculous text to.
These poor kids. So they dressed up. Now they have thousands of adults (ok, a lot of those redditors are probably kids too) making fun of them. I don’t even mean the text, I mean the cringepics post.
The text just adds another layer. Now they have people hating them. People they don’t even know. The meanness of the internet. Argh.

Arrendek, no kidding about the meaness of the internet. Why do people forget there are real people with real feelings behind photos and videos. Macleans magazine did an article on the “stars wars kid” who talks about the abuse and bullying he went through after that video was posted which really puts a face on the story. Its doubly sad when its kids that are targetted.
