As spiders go, that’s one of the cute ones. Multiple eyes and hairy legs is how they roll.
The stuff about predation is why I generally leave spiders alone when I encounter them, but sometimes their webs are in really inconvenient spots. Hey man, I appreciate you eating all the ants, but I don’t want you gumming up my battery charger.
EDIT: Also, if my wife was prone to trying to kill and eat me after we had sex, I’d be kind of OK with you squishing her.

Yeah, I recall pulling that image off Google a good long while ago (before the macro) as an example of a cute spider. She’s got big shiny eyes and fuzz like a baby ape. I don’t know if there’s a cuter spider, so if that one creeps you out you may just be too arachnophobic to appreciate spiders.
