The Juggalo March on Washington

I don’t normally come in here but, uh…presented without comment:

Uh… I don’t know anything about Juggalos. What are they? Are they actually monitored by the FBI for no reason or is that BS?

Scary. They are scary.

They are fans of Insane Clown Posse.

The Feds included them in a list of “Non-Traditional Gangs” gangs in 2011.

Juggalos

The Juggalos, a loosely-organized hybrid gang, are rapidly expanding into many US communities. Although recognized as a gang in only four states, many Juggalos subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence. Law enforcement officials in at least 21 states have identified criminal Juggalo sub-sets, according to NGIC reporting.e

  • NGIC reporting indicates that Juggalo gangs are expanding in New Mexico primarily because they are attracted to the tribal and cultural traditions of the Native Americans residing nearby.

Most crimes committed by Juggalos are sporadic, disorganized, individualistic, and often involve simple assault, personal drug use and possession, petty theft, and vandalism. However, open source reporting suggests that a small number of Juggalos are forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity, such as felony assaults, thefts, robberies, and drug sales. Social networking websites are a popular conveyance for Juggalo sub-culture to communicate and expand.

  • In January 2011, a suspected Juggalo member shot and wounded a couple in King County, Washington, according to open source reporting.13

Juggalos’ disorganization and lack of structure within their groups, coupled with their transient nature, makes it difficult to classify them and identify their members and migration patterns. Many criminal Juggalo sub-sets are comprised of transient or homeless individuals, according to law enforcement reporting. Most Juggalo criminal groups are not motivated to migrate based upon traditional needs of a gang. However, law enforcement reporting suggests that Juggalo criminal activity has increased over the past several years and has expanded to several other states. Transient, criminal Juggalo groups pose a threat to communities due to the potential for violence, drug use/sales, and their general destructive and violent nature.

  • In January 2010, two suspected Juggalo associates were charged with beating and robbing an elderly homeless man.14

Chronically unemployed trash.

They drink Faygo soda and listen to Insane Clown Posse. What more do you need to know?

What’s they’re angle on marching? Are they Trump supporters or just trying to cash in on the new trend to march? I mean, they sound repugnant, but should we anticipate violence or anything at the march?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there are few things I want more than a Werner Herzog documentary about the Gathering of Juggalos.

No idea… the site seems down now.

Juggalos are not smart people. I expect that they will do a bunch of drugs and pass out in the gutter on the way to the march.

The point is to protest their being targetted by the FBI as a “hybrid gang”, and per the site:

The ICP are a terrible band and Juggalo culture is extremely lowest common denominator and kind of hilariously awful, but that’s not actually a crime so I think they probably have a point.

My vast experience with Juggalos comes from one Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode (EDIT: Ooooh, and Workaholics! They went to a gathering) and this Stephen Lynch song:

Dammit, I love Stephen Lynch so now I have to watch, but Juggalos creep me out

Oh, I guess some folks may not know that ICP is responsible for one of the greatest lyrics in music history, which became an internet meme, 'Fucking magnets, how do they work?"

It’s from this song, Miracles:

And it’s awesome, because the song essentially exposes them as imbeciles with an understanding of the universe on par with ancient man. Magnets, along with other stuff, is described as magic, because no one could possibly understand how any of it works.

Also music is magic. You can’t even hold it. It’s just there in the air!

“I don’t wanna talk to a scientist! Y’all motherfuckers lyin, and makin’ me pissed!”

Trump supporters and juggalos are the same.

Goldthwait, man. That video is a treasure. Thanks for sharing it.

Edit: “It’s diet, it’s not going to stain.”

It seems Timex is an anti-juggalite!

Well, they sound awful, but they don’t really sound like a gang. If they want to peacefully march in Washington to try to abolish unwarranted scrutiny by law enforcement, then I support their right to do that. Let me just make sure I don’t take my kids to DC that weekend. :)

Yeah. While I can absolutely believe that random individual Juggalos do dumb petty crimes (or even not so petty) I don’t think it has anything to do with them liking a terrible band or being organized for the purpose of committing crime.

I trough “urban tribes” was a thing of the 80’s.
