Holy shit, Nesrie. Please get the hell out of there safely. I hope your aunt and uncle are okay.
I know we can’t be there to help, but we are there in spirit. Try to take some strength from all of us thinking of you.
Oh holy crap, Nesrie. Please stay safe as much as you can. What a horrible situation. Will be thinking of you and your family.

I’m sorry to hear that Nesrie. Glad to see you posting even if it’s to tell us everything is burning around you. Stay safe.
You do. You’ve handled worse.
Update us when you can.

Hey Nesrie, glad to see you are ok. Stay safe there.
And I am sorry for the difficulty you are having. That sucks that your family is having to deal with that.

Its crazy, we are under level 1 evacuation in clackamas county and their is a level 3 go now! event just 2 miles away from here in Gladstone! This is crazy, kind of afraid to go to sleep!
God that’s awful, Nesrie. Please take care, and let us know you all made it out when you have the spare time / mental space. We’re all thinking of you.
Here in the Bay, it’s creepy outside. It’s 8:30 in themorning, but it looks like it’s 5:30 with a reddish-yellow glow. Fortunately, most of the smoke is in the upper atmosphere, so actually our air quality on the ground isn’t too bad.
Yeah, it’s like something out of those Vegas scenes in Blade Runner 2049 here in the Bay. South bay isn’t quite as ugly, but up north in the city it’s surreal as all hell.

Holy Crap! I think I’d rather deal with blizzards and hurricanes on the east coast… at least with those you get 36 hours warning to evacuate and not 36 minutes! Plus you can usually hunker down if you aren’t in a flood zone…
Hope anyone near Medford stays safe - I just can’t imagine having to deal with this.
Once your city starts looking Blade Runner, it’s probably time to think about relocation. California’s becoming increasingly unlivable.
Looks post-apocalyptic in the North Bay too. I went outside for a bit and noticed there’s a thin layer of ash on everything.
Fly safe, indeed!

In Oregon on Wednesday afternoon, Gov. Kate Brown (D) announced that four towns have experienced significant damage, and she warned residents to expect news of fatalities.
“Oregon has experienced unprecedented fire with significant damage and devastating consequences for the entire state,” she said. Brown said the communities of Detroit, Blue River, Vida, Phoenix and Talent are “substantially destroyed."
“Hundreds of homes have been lost."
The evacuation in Medford, which took place Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, was prompted by one of many new blazes that started Monday and Tuesday.
