I assume you’re doing something other than saying that well after the tornadoes came through? I.e. folks are a bit skittish and that reads like a breaking news headline.

Just saw it a bit ago on ABC world news. There was discussion upthread that said it was multiple tornadoes on that track. I’m sorry if I was wrong to post it. I can delete it.

Just to be clear: no CURRENT watches/warnings in KY

Right, nobody wrong, @RichVR you just phrased it like breaking news rather than older news. I’m a bit skittish about the whole thing for obvious reasons (final track of damage was really close to the parents.)

The derrichero or however you spell it?

I recommend a very large kite and a parachute. Free airfare to Lake Michigan!

Oh, you’ll make it to Canada, we’ve got the 60mph gusts blowing through Michigan tonight. Thankfully not supposed to get the rest of the severe weather.

Well fuck me then, I’ll just get rid of that offending post.

Aw, sorry bud, I was trying to jest, not chide. Iowa is delightful, but man it’s windy. Internet forgivsies?

Obviously that did not come out the way I intended, I’ll whack it.

A heartwarming story of a devastated community coming together to help try and preserve a locally owned business that was of importance to them.

Students said throughout the years, Patel has shown them love and kindness, even for the brief interactions they had with him

Dude totally didn’t card.

Speaking of redacted posts about Minnesota and snow: Something I’ve never seen in weather: Significant tornado chance on snow covered ground - mlive.com

@Knightsaber i hope you and all of our other QT3’ers in that area are staying safe. Radar looks a bit scary.

Huh, yeah we’ve got a tornado watch here in Wisconsin on top of straight-line gust predictions of 60 mph. It was in the 40s yesterday, upper 60s today, and supposed to be 30s tomorrow.

Update: It was windy, but there was fortunately only minor damage in my area.

It’s passed most of us. Tornado sirens and weird noises and horizontal rain happened. There were I think, 8? tornado warnings at once but the storm front was moving along at 70 mph. The wind is just starting to pick up and gust now.

I heard that a small town was crushed, but I don’t think any news will come out until tomorrow. If at all.

I was looking at the weather underground map a bit ago and it showed a tornado track not far my house. In Nevada. It showed it moving south east off Mt. Rose toward Carson City. Was gone after a few minutes, but holy crap.

I’m wide awake at 5am. Power went out about an hour ago so I lost my white noise fan covering up all of the terrifying wind noises outside. I’m not sure I’ve ever witnessed such sustained strong wind gusts. This is the kind of stuff that rolls through for 10-15 minutes with summer severe storms but for hours now.

Still blows my mind that they decided to name their website this.

Those same winds you have are similar to the ones we had a week ago in Portland. Not as severe, but certainly disruptively strong. Lots of downed branches, and it took out my fence.

Yes! Luckily for me, I found it to be hilarious instead of offensive. But it’s close to the line!

Please explain it to me, I don’t get it.
