They are predicting freaking 97 here in upstate NY tomorrow. I’m guessing records for May 21 will be set.

95 in NorCal today, AC finally kicked on around 6:30pm.

FTFY :)

F"ing 52 snd rain. Same old same old.

90 degree weather every day this week. AC just stopped working. Emergency number for AC guys not picking up. Temp in house now 84 degrees. Fuck me.

In Florida with all the humidity, right? Ugh. I do not envy you.

I have one coworker in San Jose and another in Reno who said it hit 100 today.

Ewww

Thank dog for ceiling fans. But they are only a stopgap. Eventually the night will be bad.

Hope you’ve got one right over your bed, and put towels under your sheets and are ready to do a lot of laundry. :-\

Fuck that, especially in that humidity. I’m sorry, that’s rough.

Have you been able to self diagnose the issue? :)

The wife came home and fixed it, at least temporarily. She remembered something the installer told her. They are coming around to check it soon. It’s a new unit so we’re covered.

Please run an underground pipe to our house…we need as much warmth as we can get.

When does summer start in western WA again? I think I say this every year, but it seems like we have had very few nice days so far this year. Four day weekend and the weather is blah the whole time.

This is an old fashioned PNW summer, which means 4th of July is when the nice weather starts.

I took advantage of the rare sunny weekend last week and my wife and I did North Cascades National Park all the way to Washington Pass, which still had massive amounts of snow. So much that the road to the overlook was closed.

I am just being inpatient. By August I will be complaining about how I am ready for Fall. It’s actually not a bad day here in Bothell, just windy.

That’s on my bucket list this summer. I really need/want to get out more and see more places.

It’s a really beautiful place, America’s Alps.

And it’s free! Mainly because the actual National Park part of the park is extremely remote and not really accessible by car. Highway 20 runs through Ross Lake National Recreation Area, which is how three massive hydroelectric dams exist in the middle of a National Park.

I’ve kayaked camped Ross Lake…so fun. Want to take the family to stay in those boat house rooms but have not booked them ahead of time so never done that.

The crows are freaking out, I suspect this rainstorm is going to be a doozy.
