Sorry, neither of those. Here’s the 40:40:

I remember Fat Man being a pretty good movie. I should watch that again.
This one might be on the hard side; not too sure how many people saw this movie. It’s foreign (well, non-American), but recent.
No. Although I see the resemblance.
Nope.
Though I must say that putting up obscure foreign films always seems to net guesses of interesting films I’ve never heard of. Got two films to check out now from this one. Our Own Olso looks especially good.

(HINT: Danish film and the lead actor is playing Beorn in the upcoming Hobbit movie)
LOL, I guess it would have been too many characters to embed this hint in the file name?
Also, your skill at this game is amazing charmtrap. This and the animated gif thread are the only things I’ve been reading at Qt3 all summer.
Alright, last chance, 80:80:
I’m kinda surprised no-one has seen this. I would have thought modern Danish cinema would be more popular around here. Huh.

Can’t tell if I’m being mocked, but thanks either way! :-)

Ah, then even I know which film it is…but I will leave it for someone non-Scandinavian :)
No! Take it if you know it. I don’t have anything else to post right now.

My guess is that it is Hævnen, by Bier
Yes! Whew…
In a Better World is it’s English title, but, yeah, same movie. Brilliant and sensitive movie by Susanah Bier, who has become my favorite current filmmaker after seeing this and After the Wedding and Brothers. People who haven’t seen her movies should make some room in their Netflix queues.
Her next movie is a romantic comedy starring Pierce Brosnan, so I have a few doubts but I’m keeping the faith.
That wasn’t a mock!
The one above about the hint and the file name might have been a mock, but it was a half-hearted mock at best. You’re not the only good player either. There are a lot of good players in this thread, which is probably why I find it so engaging.
