Those are some wonderful frames.
I love that movie. Strange that I could recognize the actresses just from their hair!
I guess it definitely helped knowing it was in Taiwan (that might have been one hint too far!), but I think I’d have recognized it anyway. The 60:60 is a dead giveaway; Sihung Lung is such a great actor.

Throwing out the next three frames, since the first two don’t even show any of the actors.
The funny thing is that this is not an obscure movie, it’s just that the particular frames are so unrevealing – a few seconds either way and it’d have been a dead giveaway!

Isn’t the building in 60:60 some sort of LA landmark? I’m pretty sure Jackie Chan had a setpiece there in Rush Hour.
Right! Guess the frames weren’t as obscure as I thought.
The 100:100 would have given it away for sure though:

The building’s really what gave it away. Isn’t that where Castor Troy set us up the bomb?
I totally don’t recall the last guy (I mean with the beard and the scary shirt) being in the movie at all.

I recognized the boots, and then once I recognized those, I remembered that dude in the 20:20. Nice pick.
That’s Kirk Baltz! Mr. Blonde’s special cop friend in Reservoir Dogs. I didn’t recall him being in that movie either.

Yeah, I’d figured the boots were the most likely clue. The two actors shown were bit players and easily forgotten.
Funny that it was the building that gave it away, which I’d thought was the least helpful of the frames. Apparently Generic Glass Building #3 isn’t as generic as I thought!
By the way, I’m Woolen Hording this until tomorrow.
What’s the standard approach for nabbing frames, anyway?
I just took a screenshot of my desktop and trimmed out the excess in Gimp; presumably you guys know a slicker way…
Snapshot button in PowerDVD for me.
VLC has a handy snapshot button too.
Yeah, but it gets the timing wrong.
