Heh, not Elf and not Drugstore Cowboy.

Here is the 60:60

Spun?

Killshot.

Cobra.

Charmtrap got it. That’s Thomas Jane in the first frame and Tom’s Zooey Deschanel is Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the girly jacket.

Kind of a cool little indie film that also has Rosario Dawson, Diane Lane and a cameo by the venerable Hal Holbrook.

Gordon-Levitt’s character is a little over the top, but an enjoyable little film nonetheless.

Didn’t grab an 80:80 as I figured Mickey Rourke in the 60:60 would result in the correct guess.

Charmtrap, you’re up.

Killshot was pretty decent. Great cast & based on an Elmore Leonard novel. The book was better.

20:

Huh, the shots looked much more 80s to me.

I don’t know what that is, but I like the shot composition.

Lady Vengeance.

Tis not Lady Vengeance.

OK, 40:40 time!

Dark Water?

No, sorry, not that. This could be kind of an obscure film. I don’t really have any way to judge the popularity of Asian cinema.

Here’s the 60:60:

Infernal Affairs ?

Nope, not that.

(Hint: this film’s country of origin is Japan).

Man. There’s a lot that looks familiar to me about this movie but I’m having real trouble placing it.

Well, it’s early, but I’ll put up the 80:80.

The Ring? (Ringu)

It’s not the Ring.

There’s no 100:100, so here’s the next to last shot in the movie. If there’s no answer in an hour or so, I’m going to declare myself Generalissimo of the movie frame thread.

This is a long shot, because I don’t think those shots quite fit what I remember of the movie, but maybe Takashi Shimazu’s 2005 horror film Reincarnation?
