The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes

No…is that a joke because if not I want to see that film…

It’s an old (early 70’s) Disney flick starring Kurt Russel. I have met Kurt Russel and that man is no Kurt Russel!

Uhhhh… Overboard?

The fucks I don’t give?

That looks a lot like Sam J. Jones aka 1980’s Flash Gordon, but I can’t place the film…

Maybe this one will help…lot of animosity from roguefrog yeesh!

He is a frog gone rogue. Animosity is his language, besides the croaking.

I feel like I should recognize the guy in that last shot. It’s either Burt Lancaster or, uh, Marcello Mastrantonio. I think that’s his name. That Italian guy.

You should probably post this in every single other thread on Qt3 just to keep us abreast of your lack of caring.

It’s Lancaster BUT an Italian film.

You know how Andrew Stanton thought John Carter was a household name and then directed a huge budget flop because no one had ever heard of John Carter?

Sometimes that’s how I feel about my 20:20 choices.

Who’s Andrew Stanton? :D

YUP!

Reynolds teaming up with Visconti again, though not as good as The Leopard.

Hah! I had the impression I’d seen that movie before, and just couldn’t quite remember the name. Turns out I was thinking of The Leopard; I recall thinking it was a great movie, but somehow only dimly remember what it was about.

Yeah The Leopard has a lot of very specific Italian history stuff going on that I couldn’t follow but still achieves this weird (but very powerful) emotional pay-off at the end.

I thought The Leopard at first too, but Lancaster looked older in this one.

Whipping something together now.

Let’s see, it’s in black and white and it stars Liev Schreiber. Uhh, a flashback scene from The Manchurian Candidate remake?
