You mgiht be thinking of whales. Who gets consigned to an elepahant’s belly, heated or cold?

The color of that robe makes me think it’s that M. Night Shyamalan(?) movie but I can’t remember the title… “The Village” maybe.

The exciting conclusion Monday!

Sadly, it was all I had available. Your turn Tom.

Edit: I forgot the last screens. The title object is in the 80:80.

Esteemed members of Qt3, I ask you to tell me in what movie will you see the following at the 20:20 point?

As usual, no fair cheating by looking at the image name!

-Tom

I’ll bite. Piranha 3D!

For a second I thought I saw that guy had a machine gun, and said, “Geez, Tom is hard core.”

Well bitten and well played. Did Jerry O’Connell with his not-a-machinegun give it away?

The 40:40 is from a, uh, memorable scene.

As is the 60:60.

Over to you, Joel!

-Tom

This one just clicked immediately, for some reason.

All right, here we go. 20:20:

No nibbles yet, so here’s 40:40.

Instead of guessing the name of the movie, can we just guess the year?

-Tom

Yes, there are bell bottoms.

Big hit in its day. Pretty obscure now, but it has its fans. 60:60 should make it easier to figure out. But in the meantime, here’s a clue - many of you have seen a clip of this flick in another movie.

Dirty Harry? Isn’t there a clip of Dirty Harry in Zodiac? I thought the clip in Zodiac was from the 1971 movie, Zodiac Killer, but I just looked it up and it was apparently Dirty Harry.

-Tom

Nope, not Dirty Harry.

60:60 gives us a look at one of the titular anti-heroes. Like the character actor in 40:40, she wasn’t in all that many movies - she’s probably best known for her role in a movie released in the same year as Dirty Harry.

Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry

Correct! A highly entertaining drive-in flick for those who like that sort of thing. Excellent stunts, amusingly trashy dialogue. With Peter Fonda, Susan George and Vic Morrow. A brief clip is seen in Jackie Brown.

Good one. I know I saw that when it came out. I’ll get something up later today.

Yay Tim!

This is an easy movie with maybe a difficult 20 (you guys are amazing, so I don’t know). I’ll check back after a quick lunch with the 40, which is a real giveaway.

It’s like that feeling you get when you win bingo! :)
