Love that movie. Was some nice sci-fi for the time it came out.

Yes it is.

An Indiana Jones movie?

I only saw it recently. I liked it a lot more than Chronicles of Riddick, and was also nicely surprised at what the movie taught me about his character, like his naturalist side where he seems to understand the aliens they’re encountering.

Is that a young Doctor Who in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad? Even if it is not, there are no bad Ray Harryhausen films, and deserves a shout out regardless.

Oh, most def. Chronicles was just bubble gum. Pitch Black was actually a pretty decent film.

You got it.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? I think I’m wrong there though.

Nope.

I mean yes, you are wrong.

That reminds me of The Road…except for the hat.

Nope.

Both really good guesses though.

Hah, been a while since I’ve seen it, I thought it might be some mid-blood-spray clip from the credits, like right before or after “300” is on screen. Obviously way off, but it’s the first thing I thought of.

Is it Russkies?

The Ghost Writer.

We have a bingo!

Seems like that was a tricky shot, so let’s try another scene:

Brazil?

It’s not Brazil. It might be Kafka, the Soderberg movie, but I don’t think that’s it either.

No, you nailed it. The first one is an overhead shot just before they switch over to color.
