I believe you’re right, Bob. The crossing guard near Sally Ryan’s private school.
And I’m pretty sure 42’s bang on, as well.
Yeah, knew it would be easy with the Blu Rays coming out, but I love that opening.
Bullitt? I really looks like San Francisco. Maybe one of the Dirty Harry movies.
Yeah,it’s totally SF, but I’m guessing there’s something in the frame that’s a clue to the actual movie. I suppose we could start rattling off movies set in SF in the 70s or so. Time After Time?

That’s a cross dresser in the red.
You can totally tell by the Adam’s apple.

The woman with the see through pants is one of the first things Wells sees after leaving the museum.

Man, I loved that movie as a kid, and haven’t thought of it in years. It’s on Netlfix streaming, but I’m afeard to be robbed of my fond childhood memories.
One of my favorite movies:

(EDIT: bing! RedHerb got it!)
I think you’re okay. Although it’s a bit dated in ways, I’m pretty sure Time After Time holds up based on the appeal of the three leads.

It’s gotta be Night on Earth which is a great movie.
Also i would be surprised if ‘reality bites’ was someone’s favourite movie unless they harbored a secret desire to see a love triangle between Ethan Hawke, Ben stiller and Winona Ryder… which i don’t, not once…cause that would be crazy haha
Definitely Night on Earth. Winona’s by far the worst actor in that movie.
The worst part of Night On Earth (and Down By Law) is making me think I liked Roberto Bengini. Turns out I only like him in Jarmusch movies.
It is indeed Night On Earth…and here I thought I was the only one on the planet who saw that movie for how often it’s referenced. It actually just finally got a DVD release a couple of years ago.
Apart from Winona, who, let’s face it, is always a bit iffy, the acting in this movie is superb. Gena Rowlands, Armin Muelher-Stahl, Beatrice Dahl and all the Finnish guys are brilliant in this movie. Even Rosie Perez and Roberto Begnini are watchable for once.

Okay, here’s a frame from my mystery movie.

[Solved by Hans Lauring.]
