The Muslim Ban: America Loses Its Mind.

Well, Canada did that with an innocent delivery guy back in the post-9\11 hysteria.
(Not pakistan though, just Egypt to get tortured…)

The inspector also reported on violations relating to the overly restrictive use of solitary confinement at the facility. Solitary confinement at Theo Lacy is a full 24 hours with no access to visitors, religious services, or recreation. ICE’s policies require that detainees being held in solitary confinement still be given at least an hour of recreation time five days a week, as well as limited access to phones, reading materials, and visitation.

According to the report, the staff at Theo Lacy does not track grievances on the part of inmates, so there’s no way for them to determine whether the problems have been addressed or resolved. Oral grievances are not recorded, and written grievances are recorded but maintained in private database to which ICE has no access.

Other problems at the site include no separation between high-risk and low-risk detainees, a lack of protocol and appeals process for moving detainees from barracks to restrictive modules, and no opportunity for detainees to change their risk classification. As a result of the report, ICE and Theo Lacy have taken on a new process of inspection and plan to issue correctives by November 2017.

Ali and his mother, Khalilah Camacho Ali, were stopped at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after returning from Jamaica on Feb. 7. They traveled to Washington on Wednesday without incident to speak to members of a congressional subcommittee on border security about that experience.

But attorney Chris Mancini said that when Ali attempted to board a JetBlue Airways flight home to Florida that day he was detained for 20 minutes. Mancini said Ali spoke to Department of Homeland Security officials by telephone and showed his driver’s license and passport before he was allowed to board.

“None of this was happening Wednesday,” Mancini said in a telephone interview Friday afternoon as he was traveling with the Alis. “Going to Washington obviously opened up a can of worms at DHS.”

I haven’t followed the ins and outs of this, but how is that “false flag”? Isn’t that the kind of political background you’d expect a significant proportion of anti-semitic actions to come from?

Because he was a liberal, therefore all the Jewish threats are just liberals playing games to make Trump look bad.

Of course that ignores the obvious part: Trump only really looks bad because of his lackluster response to it.

Because the narrative was that most of the attacks were from Trump supporters, and this guy was very anti-Trump.

Nothing beyond the headline/summary…

A little more info.

Edit:

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Stay losing Trump.

Rudy Guliani just couldn’t resist bragging on National TV that Trump specifically asked him for help providing legal cover for a religious ban. Thank you Rudy?

Wow: “The Government appropriately cautions that, in determining purpose, courts should not look into the “veiled psyche” and “secret motives” of government decisionmakers and may not undertake a “judicial psychoanalysis of a drafter’s heart of hearts.” The Government need not fear. The remarkable facts at issue here require no such impermissible inquiry. For instance, there is nothing “veiled” about this press release: “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.[]”.”
(link to the order)

Well, yeah. You might get away with this by adding a facade of validity, but not if you go and tell everyone the secret plan beforehand!

About damned time someone threw their own words back into their faces. Congress sure isn’t going to.

If you tell the courts your secret plan to defeat them, you just put yourself at a disadvantage!

The sheer stupidity of Team Trump may be the only thing that saves us.

Miller is such a punch able smug face choad.

9th Circut just voted en banc not to reconsider the initial decision in travel ban case #1. (Remember when Trump said, “See you in court!”?)

Washington v. Trump, No. 17-35105
REINHARDT, J., concurring in the denial of en banc rehearing:
I concur in our court’s decision regarding President Trump’s first Executive Order – the ban on immigrants and visitors from seven Muslim countries. I also concur in our court’s determination to stand by that decision, despite the effort of a small number of our members to overturn or vacate it. Finally, I am proud to be a part of this court and a judicial system that is independent and courageous, and that vigorously protects the constitutional rights of all, regardless of the source of any efforts to weaken or diminish them.

Trump supporters are literally cursing the entire state of Hawaii.
