‘Wizards’ the last in animated series ‘Tales of Arcadia’ by Mr. Del Toro has dropped.

Wizards is better than the alien one, but still no Trollhunters. It moves very fast and assumes you just finished watching Trollhunters (and possibly all the other Arcadia content as well). It was hard to keep track of what was going on, though that may because I fell asleep at the beginning and missed a few episodes. I gave up around episode 7.

Well if anything good comes from the Ratched prequel, its that I finally watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and it was totally nothing like I expected going in. I had never read the book and never seen a trailer for the movie. And wow that ending was brutal! Also a few pretty amazing and young , yet-to-be powerhouse cast members are in this!

Next, watch another one of Forman’s masterpieces, Amadeus if you haven’t already.

Seen that a dozen times . ;)

I recommend the book.

So Netflix is doing a 'This is Us" spinoff about going to Mars. Get your tissue box ready.

Yeah, it is indeed brutal. And yet joyful.

c’mon man

Another Forman movie well worth seeing is Ragtime. Great book, too

I can’t remember if this is the thread where 3% was discussed, but it is impossible to search for 3%, as it is too short.

We tried to watch this. The production values are about $3.50. The acting was just too wooden to deal with, and the story is a rehash of multiple plots over the years. We made it through the first episode and I don’t think we will be going back.

Looks like Patriot Act got canceled. Bummer

WTF Netflix? WHY would you do that?!?

I watched the first season and remember enjoying it, but not enough to watch the second season. I believe overall Qt3 consensus was good.

Netflix really doesn’t seem to like/can’t find an audience with these current affairs/comedy shows. They cancelled Michelle Wolf’s show even more quickly. To be fair it wasn’t as good, but it was still worth watching. Also that Chelsea Handler show, which I never watched, didn’t last long.

I’m very disappointed. Hasan Minaj’s show is what kept me coming back to Netflix pretty regularly over the past couple of years. I guess I can wait longer between subscriptions now.

Hopefully Hasan Minaj will find some other venue for a similar show, since it provided something that Last Week tonight and other shows didn’t.

Huh. I never got into Minaj’s shtick. I find him sanctimonious, smug and entitled. Stereotypical Millennial.

To be fair, the subject material will probably drop off a bit in 2021.

I count only 3 episodes out of 40 that were about the Trump administration. Maybe 4 if you count the one about the Asian American vote, but that one wasn’t really about the Trump administration.

Most other issues covered would likely still be worth looking at even under a Hillary administration.
