You got it Woolen. I checked the list and only the 2014 one came up when I searched. I was pretty surprised myself. Of course I was also pretty drunk when I checked.
Here is the 60:60

And the 80:80

It’s your frame.
So let’s see, Asian Rambo and a newscast about children touching something. That’s obviously the movie…
…okay, I got nothing.

Ding, ding, ding, ding!
Yup, or, in its native tongue, “Les Croix de Bois.” Director Raymond Bernard’s 1932 masterpiece, which is forever in the shadow of All Quiet on the Western Front, which is a pity, because it’s as powerful and tragic as any anti-war movie.
The first French film to really look back on WWI, Bernard cast many WWI veterans, dug up actual trenches by Reims, and went to great lengths to stage the battle scenes. It’s said that when it aired on television decades later in the 60s, an aged veteran of the Great War committed suicide because he had been so traumatized by it.
It was recently restored, which is why it came to mind.
Those hats in the first two frames were very confusing. I was trying to figure out if there was a European film about the American Civil War. Sixty was pretty clearly WWI and a lot of the obvious guesses had been tried.
In what film will you see this at the 20:20 mark?

I agree with you, but you are wrong.
