It was Rory’s Gummo guess that got me thinking in that area, but I couldn’t remember it until the Amanda Plummer frame. Honestly most of Larry Clark’s movies blend together for me and I find them pretty hard to watch.

Yup! What’s amazing is that it takes until past the 40 minute mark to get to grownup Superman scenes. Modern comic book movies no longer have the patience for an origin story of that length.

Fun fact: Marlon Brando got top billing for this movie, with Christopher Reeve relegated to an after-the-title credit. Crazy.
