Is that Zodiac?

Edit: I agree with Wholly. That is a great shot.

Sad face.

Yup, it’s Zodiac. Your turn, Christien. I’ll put up the other frames in a bit.

God, that whole sequence turned my stomach.

It was great, but horrible.

By the way, are there rules about when to start counting from? I’m going from the very beginning, which is probably a studio logo in most cases, but the ‘actual’ movie might start a ways after that…

I’ve always started from the beginning of the source (usually Netflix, HBOGo, or a ripped DVD), which includes studio logos, but not stuff like FBI Warnings. I think you’re basically okay however you do it as long as you stick to the spirit of the game, which is that you’re not choosing the frames.

The forty:

Gonna have that Katy Perry song stuck in my head all day.

sixty-one:

I’m afraid I’m the only person who has seen this movie.

-xtien

I mean besides Wholly Schmidt: Katy Perry Completionist.

If that is Marion Cotillard then I would guess that is Rust and Bone.

You know how sometimes you hear a song everywhere, hear an artist talked about everywhere, but never connect the artist to the song? Somehow that’s what happened to me with Katy Perry’s Firework, until this movie, for some reason. So that part stuck with me, apart from it also being a fascinating movie.

I’m also so bad at this 20:20 game. I seem to know the movies much more often when I don’t have anything of my own to offer, yet I can’t hold back from commentary like this anyway as I try to take credit for knowing these without actually naming them. You guys should probably kick me out of this thread.

You are correct sir, on both counts. I really, really like this movie. And I wasn’t a huge fan of A Prophet. It just felt so prison-tedious. Maybe I need to give it another look.

Regardless, Marion Cotillard. I just totally dig her.

At any rate, the eighty-whatever:

You have the conch, marquac!

“What’s up, Robocop?”

Absolutely not. Don’t you dare go away.

“Mr. Saavik, you go right on quoting regulations.”

She is very striking. I just got this movie in the mail and haven’t watched it yet (it’s hard to grab screens when you don’t want to look at the screen). It’s a probably a pretty obscure pick but I know at least three people who have seen this movie.

20:20

marquac…come on now. Don’t look at screens for this movie if you haven’t seen it yet! Chris, come on! You’re seriously upsetting me. Watch it before you grab the forty. It deserves better and so do you. Seriously.

“What a thing to get worked up about in this day and age.”

It was never released in Winnipeg and I’ve been waiting for months to watch this so I will do so tonight so that I can also

listen to the podcast. Then I can finally know what was censored during Kelly’s backup backup tagline.

Nice. I love that you spoiler tagged that.

Also, I cannot wait to hear what you think of the movie. Damn. You just made me want to watch it yet again. Damn!

Fine, I know the new one too.
