His was a static image, not an mp4. And you also failed at posting a gif in the thread where only animated gif files are allowed.
Apparently I need to explain again just for Scott: The “GIFs only” rule has already been broken, many many times, by other people posting MP4s instead of GIFs (hint: anything with playback controls is an MP4). So it’s more of an unenforced guideline by this point.
But a static image is neither a .gif nor a .mp4
Static images can indeed be gifs. Except the offending Spice-cat was a JPG.
