It was talked about as a runner up by Tom, I believe, for the 3x3 this week. That’s Amy Adams in the restaurant. It was @crispywebb’s #5 movie of 2016 and my #10.

This one is from Memories which has three different unrelated stories. The big hook with Memories was that it was based on three manga short stories by Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira). Specifically this is from the first story in Memories, Magnetic Rose, which has a script by the great Satoshi Kon and is my favorite of the three stories.
Oh. Dang it. I’ll watch the whole thing then, now. I really like that gif.

I want to watch that movie so hard. But it never made it to theaters here, and so far, there’s no indication that it will show up on DVD or BR or streaming. :(
