Yep, a few libertarian blogs that I frequent are calling him on that. It’s a pretty ridiculous article, but fits right in with the website.
I couldn’t get beyond the introduction, I was laughing too hard. Its been a long time since I’ve seen so many unexamined flat statements of “truth” packed into such a short bit.
Does it get any better?
TNR is about as Democratic as Arlen Specter and hasn’t represented the views of mainstream Dems since, oh, LBJ was in power. And it’s been ignored by everyone, regardless of political party, since the neoconservative bubble burst during the W administration.
In other words: who cares?
Oh, it just gets better and better. Not so funny though. That’s kind of how Qutb is, the joke is on us.
What’s news about this? The New Republic is not even remotely friendly to Democrats.

What’s that sociopath New Republic editor Marty Peretz up to these days, in terms of how much he hates the motherfucking Arabs, who he KNOWS are not even human, because come on, Arabs? This week, hate-sack Marty Peretz (whose mom was an Arab) says Americans of Arab descent are not “worthy of the privileges of the First Amendment.” Ha ha, what? Oh yeah, Marty Peretz is a liberal magazine editor — if by “liberal” you mean “neocon” and “magazine” you mean “a thing that literally no-one has read for decades, not even other bloodthirsty Arab-Killin’ porn afficionados, because they’re all wanking to NewsMax or whatever.”
Yeah, I subscribed to TNR for a while during the 90’s until I got rather tired of the reflexive “Israel can do no wrong” line.
