The Cowboys weren’t even this pathetic during the 1-15 season. One of the most complete messes I’ve ever seen. Kitna is a 38-year nothing–“The Cockroach” is far underneath the capability of a QB needed to do anything useful. Penalties and a defense that is equal parts talent and unadulterated stupidity disgusts me. I can hardly stand to watch (but will still do so).

Terrible call by Dallas to go for it on 4th when a field goal would have brought them within 15 points. Now they’re in exactly the same situation they were in, where they have to stop the Giants and get three touchdowns.

Wade Phillips is an idiot. A bumbling good ol’ boy buffoon. I’ve been advocating bringing on Cowher for a year and a half now. I doubt he’ll do it; not that he doesn’t like broadcasting, but he wouldn’t have a lot of power under Jerry Jones. Maybe this will be the final convincing act–but I doubt it. Jason Garrett will be the next coach.

Well I don’t think it could get worse, honestly. Phillips made “run” the defense but the day-to-day coaching is done by Dave Campo, who’s already been a reject Cowboys head coach. He’s a lot like Phillips and is no good as a head coach. Of this team anyway.
As an offensive coordinator, Garrett has been both good and bad. He’s had some growing pains and is not nearly as good as the previous one (Sean Payton). At times incredibly conservative, other times stupidly aggressive. Usually both at the wrong times.

Too bad about Romo. If the Cowboys are going to have a bad season (and they are), I’d rather them do it with him than without, so they have no excuses.

What a waste of talent. Not that NY isn’t good, but Dallas is more talented. Ahhh screw it, I’ve been hating on Wade since Jones hired him, no point in repeating it all again. I still think Romo is better than the QT3 hivemind does, but…again, screw it. I expected a horrible season from my college team, and I have been able to deal with their losses quite well, but to see Dallas repeatedly lose games they should win (not this one!) is tough to take.
I guess I’ll fall back on my backup teams in the NFL, Atlanta and gag Tennessee to root for the rest of this season.

I’m guessing the Titans are one of the teams you think Dallas should have beaten. And clearly you don’t really like them, so why cheer for them?
Also, perhaps you are buying into the hype a bit too much. Sure, the media types keep telling us all that Dallas is the most talented team in the league. But where is it? What talent? Just saying something over and over doesn’t make it true.
