And the Redskins lose to the Lions. Over the past 2 years, the Lions are 2-0 against the Redskins, and 2-19 against the rest of the NFL.

Too bad the Lions don’t play the Redskins every game…

The key thing for the Redskins to remember over the bye week is that they have already played the toughest part of their schedule and come out of it 4-4, with key tiebreakers over other teams that they will be jockeying with for a wild card spot.

With few serious injuries and more game speed time in the new systems and new coaches, they should really finish stronger than 4-4 in the 2nd half of the season and, amazingly, be in position to sneak into the playoffs a year after winning 4 games total, with essentially the same or inferior personnel . . .

Oh wait, we pulled the starting quarterback for Rex . . . Grossman . . . jesus f*&king christ.

I was going to mock the ‘toughest part of their schedule’ since they played Detroit today, but 1.) Detroit is getting better quickly, and 2.) REX :-(

Looked like how you teach people to tackle to me. Since I’ve pretty much written off Dallas this year (Wade’s a dead man walking, and most of the staff should be as well but probably will not be), seeing SEX CANNON getting a run out was my highlight of the weekend.

Well that didn’t last long. Wow.

Probably didn’t help that Moss didn’t even go for the football in the endzone after he got interfered with (and obviously could have caught it, it landed right next to him and the defender had stopped). The Vikings scored anyway but that was incredibly weird.

So, Redskins fans…wtf is up with your coach? I agree McNabb only looked servicable at times, but putting in Grossman for the two minute drill? Really? And if I were McNabb, wouldn’t I take that as a huge lack of confidence? Shouldn’t I?

I don’t see a team like the Rams forcing their freshman QB to deal with Moss’ baggage. I think the most likely candidates are teams who feel they’re legitimately in the playoff chase and are willing to deal with some of Moss’ headaches if they think he’ll have a major impact.

The three teams that initially jump out at me: Chargers, Colts, Dolphins.

Shanahan’s Grassy Knoll convoluted fake rationale was mind-boggling. Oh, so because Grossman was with the Texans and Gary Kubiak runs a similar offense since he was your OC in Denver, that’s why ALL-PRO FRANCHISE RESURRECTING QB DONOVAN “I HAVE A WINNING CAREER RECORD, WHAT CHOO GOT” MCNABB SHOULD BE PULLED FOR REX “THIS IS ALL I GOT AND IT’S PRETTY” GROSSMAN. McNabb is the pariah of the NFL and I couldn’t tell you why. That is the dumbest thing I have seen in a football game since, well, since the Zornskins ran the Swinging Gate play twice last season.
