To get technical, what on earth do Andy Reid/Michael Vick/Philly’s Offensive Coordinator see in the Redskins defense that other teams don’t? Why have they put two huge TD passes on the Redskins in their first five possessions, and a touchdown in each of the other three possessions? Nobody else has done this.

The Eagles have a QB who is a threat to run. When Vick rolled out on the first play, he caught the Skins in pretty thin zone coverage, and then both CB’s cheated up on the play action–both bit pretty hard on it. As for the others, put it down to the Skins just not being quite prepared for this aggressive attack.

The play was done perfectly and caught the Redskins right where they wanted it–and Jackson was already way ahead of his man. You can’t defend the dude from the catch-up position.
