What an odd thing to say. So cannibalism is just an alternate lifestyle choice?
Yes, if cannibalism is culturally accepted in an area, why is it unequivocally wrong? If you’re sneaking around into cemeteries to exhume and eat the dead, that’s a little messed up, but there’s nothing inherently wrong with eating human.
I think Hanacker puts it a bit more…tersely than I would (when do I state anything in a short manner), but yes, if you’re raised to believe that cannibalism is the proper way of things and you continue that practice, it can’t be then also seen as a sign of sociopathic behavior.

just as long as it’s nobody you know
I’d rather be eaten by somebody I know, but ymmv.
And the Panthers starting QB is… wait for it… (drum roll)… Brian St. Pierre!

It’s not really about what the food wants, you know?
I’m surprised they didn’t go with Tony Pike. Why not let the rookie play? Sure, Fox may have no confidence whatsoever in Pike, but the Panthers aren’t exactly making a push for the playoffs. St. Pierre is a stopgap. Pike at least presumably has some ability the Panthers find interesting, or else why draft him and keep him on the roster?

Hint: how’s the Panther’s offensive line been doing? The offense in general? It seems nearly toxic right now. Why throw a rookie into that meat grinder? I’m not sure Tom Brady or Payton Manning, even, could succeed in their current system AND with their current players.
So painfully true for the Skins fans. Thumbs up!
Brandon Marshall better watch out for Micheal Vick.
Cause he’s a dog.
We expected a diva, but when Long is playing in a brace, and you blow in the first half, get your ass back on the field in the 2nd half.
Looks to me like a case of “find somebody who we don’t care if he actually gets killed back there.” The Ravens are pissed off about losing to Atlanta last game, they have one of the best defenses in the league, Carolina can’t stop the rush at all. You don’t want to subject your rookie to that. So find some poor sucker who wants a payday (and you apparently can’t take anyone who is in the UFL, because the league contract doesn’t allow them an out to go to the NFL) and throw them into the pile as fresh meat. I expect to see St. Pierre set a new NFL record for yardage spent running away from defensive linemen. And maybe for sacks against, if he can’t run fast enough.

As a Lions fan, there’s something uniquely hellish about hearing Matt Millen ecstatically heaping praise on Rod Marinelli for being such an outstanding coach. Last night I felt like I was watching a Saturday Night Live sketch.
This is the best rant I have heard in a long time:
Chad Dukes Rant On the Redskins 59-28 Loss
Matt Millen is proof that there is no justice in the universe. Is there really such a scarcity of announcers that this guy bounces right back into a network job after his debacle as Lions GM? And does he have either such little self-awareness or such a monumental ego that he can’t figure out how bad it looks when he praises anything related to any decision he made while the Lions GM?
Ayup . . . that’s quite a rant.
Skins fans have been amazingly loyal. We’ve been without a championship and playoff win forever - yet the stadium still sells out 12 years in a row.
Compare this to the Rams, who were having blackouts 3 years after their Super Bowl win.
I’m not even a Lions fan and I wanted smack Millen last night. Papa is a pretty generic play by play guy, but Theisman and Millen kill me. Theisman is like a less knowledgeable Simms. Yes, that bad.
Redskins fans! Are you completely pissed off?
You are now!

Jeezus I thought Al Davis was bad, but that goes beyond ridiculous.

That should be published annually (with whatever necessary updates, there will never be any shortage) until he sells the team. Sometimes we forget what a total douche the man is.
