Well, they need some help on defense. Their offense is just so ridiculous this year that no one has really noticed that they’re giving up 23.7 points per game on defense (20th in the league). The team is weak at defensive tackle, need players at outside linebacker (Ernie Sims hasn’t done well there), and could use help in the secondary.

That said, the Eagles should trade one of them if someone is willing to offer a lot for the player. And there are several teams that desperately need a QB who would probably be willing to give up a first round pick even for Kolb.

If the Raiders don’t execute on offense, they are dead, I don’t care if my grandmother is playing QB for Denver. Sure wish I could see the game but it’s not being shown down here.

The Vikings apparently did a walkthrough at the stadium they are supposed to use tomorrow night and the punter has been quoted as saying the field was “unplayable.”

Well, so far (midway through the 4th quarter) Shanahan seems to be somewhat vindicated by choosing Grossman over Mcnabb. 4TDs and 2 2pt conversions and the Redskins have their highest point total of the season.

WTF happened to the Saints? Fuck. Really lame defense in the first half. Plenty of uncharacteristically bad throws from Brees. Did he make a single 20+ yard pass the entire game? I don’t think so. Then to blow what could have been a winning drive? Eff. I’m a little verklempt over here.

They’ve stuck with Matt Dodge all year even when it was clear that he wasn’t ready to be put in high pressure situations. But that was a total team collapse. The defense didn’t adjust to the situation at the end of the game. Manning lost his composure totally, and special teams failed as well. They’ve got a lot to think about from this one.

This game is the result of Coughlin consistently allowing sloppy play to be acceptable as long as they were winning. A superior team took advantage of it finally.
