He was not. The clock hit :00 when he was at the 20, so it was total showboating.

And really, not bright. Had he tripped or been tackled at the 1 while trolling, the game would have gone to OT. Dangerous stuff to do when you’re talking about a game that could decide the division and playoff positioning. Just get the ball in the end zone in that situation and then dance it up.

Uhm, those helmets that they wear don’t have HUDs.

Meanwhile, Tebow is looking like the NFL QB I didn’t think he was. WTF?

WTF? He’s 2/5 for 34 yards. He had one 40 yard run and then threw a touchdown where the Raiders turned the ball over deep in their territory.

I don’t know what kind of QB Tebow is going to be, but it’s pretty premature to make any statements about it based on what’s happened in this game so far.

As a neutral observer (Skins fan), that Eagles-Giants game was one of the most amazing NFL games I’ve ever seen. It was unbelievable that Reid didn’t challenge the really questionable Jackson fumble. If the Eagles had lost, he would have been crucified the next week by media and fans.

However, lucky for him, he has Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson to win games for him. Unreal.

Hopefully the owner is going to yell at Coughlin about that 4th quarter meltdown to be fair.

His job has got to be on the line. Especially with Cowher out on the market. The players blew that game, but the coaching was dubious and the allegiance to Dodge has been inexplicable so far.

Even with that loss the Giants are still on track for the playoffs. I don’t know that Coughlin is in that hot of water, especially since the Giants ownership isn’t exactly known for making sudden moves. The fans, on the other hand . . .

I agree to a point. We’ll see if they bounce back next week or not. And, we’ll see how the playoffs go obviously. If they don’t make it to the playoffs or a 1st round loss, I can’t imagine they wouldn’t consider making a change with someone of Cowher’s quality out there.

Of course it’s premature. But 2 big play TD’s in such a short time frame is pretty impressive, particularly given the way Denver’s offense has looked this year.

I would be shocked if Dodge still had a spot on the Giants’ roster by Tuesday afternoon.

Hot damn, the Jets are playing some old-school Mularkey-ball with these trick plays.

Where are the DAMN FLAGS against the Jets?

Refs are throwing the game. Period.

Woo, 6-8 Rams would host a playoff game if the playoffs started today! That last game at Seattle looks like it’s going to be huge. I doubt Seattle wins at Tampa. 49ers are still in it, even. So sad.

currently 7/14 for about 130 yards and a TD, 8 runs for about 80 yards.

He looks like a Michael Vick kind of NFL QB, you ask me. Ball protection, working on accuracy, etc.

in other news, Refs threw the game for the Jets. I saw half a dozen blatant, game-changing penalties not flagged. Multiple obvious pass interference calls ignored on the last drive alone.

I don’t know about throwing the game, but that was pretty pathetic. Throwing the flag doesn’t hurt, guys.

Well, almost all the non-calls or bad calls favored the Jets, it’s indisputable.

Hrm…looking at the stat sheet, Tebow is a one-man band today. 15 carries for 20 yards by his #1 RB. That’s sad.

As a staunch Ravens fan… let me just say “Ha ha”. That is all. :)

I find it delightful that Carolina won, nearly botching their quest for the #1 pick, but everybody else who needed to win to stay ahead of Carolina did that. Cincinnati moves to 3 wins, Detroit to 4 wins, Buffalo to 4 wins. Weird Sunday.

Goooooo Raiders! We’re hanging on by a thread!

As the staunch Steelers fan…let me just say your Ravens played a very nice game today. It was fun to watch.

As a staunch Patriots fan… let me just say WTF, Green Bay? Starting the game with an onside kick?
