Yep, that all makes sense. I mean, it’s not like were actually talking about how to enjoy the NFL outside of FF. But whatever, continue on with the dumb…you will anyway! :)

This implies the 49ers are not going after certain big name coaching candidates.

That thread was created specifically for a QT3 fantasy football league. It was not created to be an all-purpose “let’s only talk about fantasy football in here” thread. Furthermore, who the fuck cares? Sometimes, people talk on-topic about things you don’t care about. Most people don’t feel the need to piss and moan about it.

I can understand being irate at fantasy football. It bothers me too. As a fan of the game of football, fantasy fans who focus exclusively on the individual stats of marquee players annoy me.

Real fantasy football is thinking the Raiders are ever going to make it to the playoffs without moving back to LA where they belong. That’s right, I said it.

C’mon, people, let’s get back to good old-fashioned outrage. Like WHERE IS TAMBA HALI ON THAT PRO BOWL LIST DO YOU EVEN WATCH FOOTBALL WHAT IS THIS I DON’T EVEN

There we go!

Really glad to see Jamaal Charles on there, though.

No, no, no. The Raiders belong in Oakland. LA was just a frolic–Al Davis’s version of a Monica Lewinski.

And as a Chief fan, if that means that the Raiders will never make the playoffs, well that’s a cross I’m willing to bear.

For that gift you didn’t get for Xmas.

(The truth of the matter is I had to take my mind off this shitty football game and the shitty basketball game I was watching).

We should go over to the fantasy football thread and talk about football. That’ll show those assholes.

He’s the Rooney Rule candidate for the GM position.

Sorry to shit up this thread with fantasy football, but I won my league.

Anyway, here we go Patriots.

Ug…Fantasy football. Yes, lets turn the greatest most physical game on the planet into a spreadsheet.

In other news…nice job last night Eagles.

I blame Tuesday. Stupid day.

Oh well, a first round bye would have been sweet and all but I think it was already really unlikely, so odds are this was a pretty meaningless loss. In fact, you could almost say that it’s a good thing because now they can rest players on Sunday. Not a great silver lining, but it’s something.

I…totally agree with you!

The players would have been fine playing in it, I have no doubt about that.

Having 12 inches of snow fall during the 6 hours before/during the game would have been a serious safety risk for the fans wanting to attend the game. Could have been fatalities between traffic accidents and being stuck in the snow overnight. The league was responsible to the safety of their fans, not just the players, and that should be applauded. They didn’t send that message well at all, however.

I love the NFC playoff picture right now, nearly every team (except Rams/Seahawks) has a decent chance to get to the SB and I don’t see any team standing hands above any other team. The playoffs are going to be awesome on that side. On the AFC <yawn>, it’ll take a meltdown of huge proportions for the Patriots not to at least be there if not win it all.

The Falcons looked vulnerable, the Eagles looked vulnerable, Brees likes to throw to whomever is available, it’s hard to really believe in the Bears and the Pack/Giants could have a run and make it. Fun times.

Favre fined. That is all.

See I’m actually feeling like the Falcons and Saints are a step above the others. Both are going into the playoffs on pretty good runs, whereas the other NFC playoff contenders are all having a bumpy time.

Basically, I’m expecting a Saints at Falcons NFC Championship game.

What the NFL is saying is that they couldn’t prove that Favre did anything wrong, including verifying that the voice messages and cell phone pictures came from him. Other potential victims (based on media reports there were supposedly others) wouldn’t cooperate. So ultimately they fined Favre because he didn’t fully cooperate with them either.

Of course it’s also possible that there was some deal reached behind the scenes. Since Favre is presumably done, suspending him would be rather pointless as a penalty.

I guess Tucker Carlson is a Giants fan.
