The NFL Network is reporting that Jason Garrett is the permanent coach in Dallas.
There’s also talk that Marvin Lewis is leaving the Bengals, supposedly because owners won’t upgrade facilities or something. I say it’s to avoid being fired.

As I said in the other thread, he had already turned down a contract extension last year, so the question is/was if they would meet his demands for him to stay. I think it’s clear though that TO was his usual toxic self and the move from the running game with Benson to the passing game with TO/Ochocinco was not good for the Bengals.

No way Mangini makes it to tomorrow.

Goddammit, when will the Raiders stop allowing Heyward Bey on the field. I mean that guy couldn’t catch a basketball on a basketball court, not to mention a football.
Sweet. Dual HD tuner setup and a spare LCD monitor means I can watch the Saints suck at the same time as I watch the Patriots pound the Dolphins.

He’s not got much to work with, in the Mangenius’s defense. Cribbs is arguable his best player, playing hurt the past few weeks, and reinjured today. Hillis is ship all banged up the past couple weeks and is a non-factor today.
McCoy has actually had strong games as a rookie QB, and I could see building around him once they get him an offensive line, a running game, wide receivers, and a defense.

He’s an excellent shutdown receiver!
Well, there are worse ways to end the season. First time in nearly a decade I’ll actually miss seeing the team play after week 17.

Let’s hope he’s a receiver that is excellently shutdown. What a waste of a first round pick. ESPN is reporting that a source is saying that Cable is out. I presume this is to keep Hue Jackson, the OC, and promote him to HC. Cable’s leaning on Gradkowski didn’t pay dividends and pissed off Al Davis.

I think I’d prefer they keep Cable on to run interference between the coordinators and the old man, but perhaps Hue enjoys mashing up film weekly to justify his schemes.

So when is everyone going to the big viewing parties for tonight’s “Battle to see who will lose to the Saints next week” ? Sadly I have to work.
;-)
Ah, Titans - you always find a way to lose.

I bet the Saints are hoping for Seattle. Their pass defense has been awful.
Let’s go Male Sheep! (Clap clap clapclapclap)

Today my dream of a 7-9 division winner is potentially three hours away from being a reality. Go Seahawks!
Rams look a little freaked out out there in warmups.
I would love for a national TV audience to meet Danario Alexander tonight. If that left knee can hold up, dude is a straight up beast.
I watched the Buccaneers and really liked that young team and their Quaterback. Shame it appears the won’t be on the playoffs.

If the Raiders get rid of Heyward-Bey and use an early draft pick on a lineman, we’re talking about a good offense. Campbell’s going to only get better from here on, Run DMC is a top 5 rusher (shoot, he may be the best), and so on. Special teams is excellent at giving the team fantastic field position all the time. Defense isn’t perfect but they’re only getting better. Just need to get those penalties under control.

My son has been referring to this game as the Toilet Bowl.
