It seems like every team’s problem is their O-line, some more than others. The Niners O-line is equally just as bad, well maybe not as bad but Alex Smith is tied for third in sacks with 14. But the Niners are able to overcome their problems with the O-line and still win so it doesn’t make it look as bad. Who would’ve thought after four games Alex Smith would only have one interception and a higher QB rating than Vick, Romo, Ryan, or Roethlisberger? Hope they can keep this up.

What is wrong with the Rams? Sam Bradford already has 18 sacks which leads the league and makes him on pace for 72 for the year. He looked good his rookie year, hopefully he doesn’t let this season frustrate him. I would hate to see him become the next Alex Smith, have all this potential only to become mediocre due to a such a horrible O-line and yearly rotating offensive coordinators.

And Madonna is the Super Bowl Halftime show.

That is what the Indianapolis Colts are starting under center tonight.

That is almost must-see TV.

I’m not sure who that is supposed to appeal to.

Maybe it’ll be San Francisco vs Miami and we can all pretend it’s 1985 again.

People who wonder whatever happened to her?

Not my choice, but the NFL seems in a no-win situation when choosing halftime show artists. Older acts have wide appeal with older viewers but seem like “geezers” to the younger demographic. And if you go with somebody younger then the older viewers aren’t happy. There are very few acts that have broad appeal.

They should just get AC/DC. Everyone loves them.

No we don’t.

Is that why last year we had the Black Eyed Peas and Slash?

I have to agree, not everyone loves AC/DC

It happens every four or five minutes, so you should be pretty happy.

If you bother watching the exciting Colts/Bucs matchup on MNF tonight, you won’t see Hank Williams Jr doing the song open. Turns out Hank made some political comments regarding the president and ESPN has decided to drop him, at least for this week (it isn’t clear how if this is permanent or not. Nor is it clear why Hank would be hurt by them not showing something they already paid him for, but whatever.)

PFT has more details.

Slightly unbelievable that Fox News would not understand an Obama/Hitler reference but I’m sure the football game will go on just fine.

I think they knew. They just wanted Hank to spell it out for some reason. In any case, ESPN is well within their rights to let him go. I bet they just pull him for one week though. He’s too much of an icon with this game.

I suppose if I and anyone else who agrees with the ESPN decision wanders into their black hole of a comment system, that might help make the decision permanent.

Wow 20 minutes before game time and that stadium is empty.

I don’t understand the reference. Are Hitler and Netanyahu alive at the same time in the analogy or are time travel or necromancy involved?

If you worked as a TV journalist for Fox News, you’d understand the reference :) :)

Haha, you said “journalist”.

Now it’s time for the Curtis Painter Show!
