The Curtis Painter Monday Night Show!

Tomorrow, in the Indianapolis Star newspaper:

Colts crush Bucs, 55-0
Painter throws for 5 TDs
Indy to trade Peyton?

;-)

That’s exactly what we all deserve. It won’t happen, but we deserve it.

Damn, that was an amazing TD catch and run. Too bad it was called back.

Oh damn. What an injury.

That was a great game last night. Nice to see Verlander tough it out for the win. Sabathia was huffing and puffing by the 5th–damn he’s gotten fat. I’d be embarrassed to call myself an athlete looking like that. Valenzuela fat. Hell, Cecil Fielder fat.

These aren’t the droids you’re looking for…

On the subject of Sabathia, though, we (my sister’s boyfriend and I) looked it up during the game, and the dude’s listed at 6’7", 290 lbs. By comparison, Zdeno Chara, the captain of the Boston Bruins, is 6’7", 260 lbs. And that dude is a hulk on skates. Granted, Big Z has shoulder pads on, but still…

I put it in exactly the thread I intended :)

This seems kind of odd: according PFT Chad Henne seperated his non-throwing shoulder last week and the Dolphins are acting like it might be a “season ending injury.” WTF? Since when did seperating or injuring that should lead a QB to that? I’d almost say they are looking to use it as an excuse to get rid of the guy, but his numbers this year are half-decent so that doesn’t really make much sense.

At any rate, it might be where Garrard ends up if Henne’s season really is declared to be over.

Clearly Miami has decided it is time to go all-in and “suck for Luck”. Sporano is getting offed next.

You use the left arm to hand off and you use it in the throwing motion, too, for balance. I can see if he can’t really use it how it would difficult to play.

Have you ever had a separated shoulder? I have, twice. A 3rd degree and 2nd degree. It’s debilitatingly painful to put on a shirt.

A 1st degree I could see living with pain injections, maybe a 2nd degree, but beyond that you’re pretty fucked up with typically a couple weeks in a sling and 6 weeks until the soft tissue is healed enough to start serious therapy.

Isn’t that the same injury that took Pennington out initially?

but but Emmitt Smith played a whole half with a separated shoulder back in the day, this guy is clearly just soft.

Well, he’s a Chad. No badass in the world has ever been named “Chad”.

Three-time Pro Bowl, two-time All-Pro inside linebacker Chad Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks would like to hit you in the mouth.

He lost his badass status when he went to Seattle. Seattle is like the anti-badass. Only one badass in history has ever come out of Seattle, and that’s Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Yeah. I’d have to guess he is used to receiving the hand off in his left hand.

You’re just bitter that Rod Woodson went to the Ravens.

THAT NEVER HAPPENED.
