So now at 741 yards on the season, his average has dropped from 154 to 148 y/g.

The all time record for rec yards in a season is 1848. At his current pace, Welker will pass that in week 13. Even if he averages 111 y/g for the rest of the season, he’ll still break 2000 yards total and shatter the record.
