With 4 days from the trade deadline, starting to see the speculation that losing teams will unload and give up on the season.
Or at a minimum, trade away a player whose contract expires this year for a future draft pick
Denver’s Brandon Lloyd is in play
Speculation on the Colts dumping Reggie Wayne
Doubt that the Vikings will unload anyone.
Don’t think the Rams have enough talent to move anyone.
Looking at the list of 1-4, 0-4, and 0-5 teams, really only the Colts and Broncos stand out as ‘We’ve given up on the season.’
Most everyone else has a GM or Coach on the hotseat who would fight any trade tooth and nail.
As a Reggie Wayne fantasy owner, PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN
I love that gif. There’s another classic one with Brandon Lloyd ducking under a pass meant for him. OH NINERS

This one?
My favorite receiver moment was the Todd Pinkston one. Glorious.
Wow, if I was the coach I’m not sure that guy would be on my team the next week.
Yessssss. Lloyd was such a goddamned bust for SF. Of course now he’s awesome everywhere else (jerk).

Brandon Marshall: My goal against the Jets is to get ejected in the 2nd quarter
DAVIE, Fla. – Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall says he has been playing with his emotions in check and plans to show more passion Monday night against the New York Jets, with a goal of getting kicked out of the game in the second quarter.
When asked if he was joking, Marshall said no.
“I’m not joking. I’m serious,” Marshall told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "They’re going to fine me. It’s probably going to be like a $50,000 fine. But that quarter and a half that I’m out there, I’m going to play like a monster.
“I might get in a fight with Bart Scott. (Antonio) Cromartie, we pretty much matured our relationship and grew a little bit. We used to fight in Denver and San Diego. If that happens, it happens, so we’ll see.”
/facepalm
That’s… umm… among the dumbest things I’ve heard from a professional athlete. You sure ESPN’s not quoting from an Onion piece?
At least one of the Dolphins would be doing something.

What are you talking about? All of the Dolphins do something every week.
It’s called sucking!
God why won’t the Cowboys learn? Cowboys Center Phil Costa calls Vince Wilfork a “speed bump.”
Yes because making fun of Megatron worked out so well for you guys 2 weeks ago.
Costa must really want to see Kitna under center again, soon.
Costa needs to shut his pie hole and concentrate on the snap count.

There are no words to describe how awesome this video is.
(It’s better if you don’t know what it is beforehand. It’s youtube and totally SFW.)
meh. They’ve done better.
In case anyone was wondering, the Jets’ playcalling sucks:

Yes that is the Jets going 5 wide with no one running past the first down marker.

Actually, the receiver at the top does actually run past the first down marker, though he then stops. ;-)
Its really hard to be critical of the play without knowing the context, though. Its very possible that Sanchez was confused by the defense and read it wrong, going with or to a play that wasn’t well suited to what the Patriots were doing. If the DBs are playing deep or more then three players had rushed, then having all those receivers in short yardage could have been an advantage.
Yes but none of that happened, instead they went 5 wide and it was a terrible play.
If it helps you out, he was a horrendous bust in DC as well. Hope you all enjoyed that 3rd and 4th round pick…
