Sorry, didn’t read it as a math problem, just thought you were pairing up QBs and WRs…

Especially with both of Minnesota’s top cornerbacks out! Jared Allen needs to have the game of his life tomorrow to keep it close.

It’s Ponder’s coming out party. He’s totally going to Cam Newton the place up.

(Okay, probably not; but the Packer secondary is depleted right now, too, with Sam Shields out with a concussion from his utterly pointless and stupid quasi-interception-runback against the Rams.)

So Harvin just has to contend with Tramon Williams instead. Who else do they even have at wide receiver?

What I’m saying here is there’s a difference between the Packers being down their nickel corner against Minnesota’s rather pathetic receiving group and Minnesota being down their top two corners against Green Bay’s insanely deep receiving group. A minor difference, but a difference nonetheless!

From FO’s weekly NYT picks article: “Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (ankle) was a limited practice participant this week, but Charlie Whitehurst took most of the snaps with the first-team offense. Pete Carroll said he may not choose his starting quarterback until Sunday. The Browns are preparing for both by trying to keep a straight face.”

Hilarious/awesome.

Michael Jenkins is just one reception behind Harvin on the season. Percy has 40 more yards, but Jenkins has fully half of the receiving touchdowns the Vikings have put up so far (which is to say, 2/4); Harvin has none.

And technically Bernard Berrian is still on the team.

In a surprise to absolutely everyone, John Beck turns out to be not any better than the Walking Turnover. Redskins may as well just run the wishbone at this point.

So far, the Broncos have run 17 running plays in this game and 4 pass plays. Will the Dolphins catch on?

Magic 8 ball says: no.

Hilariously, the Broncos just missed their second FG attempt of the day, so the Dolphins cling to a 3-0 lead. Between this and the 0-0 Cleveland/Seattle game, we might see football set back 40 years today.

Clipboard Jesus and the Seahawks look pretty bad on offense so far. Luckily the Browns look just as bad so its still an exciting 0-0 score in the 2nd quarter.

Edit: 3-0 Browns at the half. I think. I say that because Fox went to half while the ref was putting a second back on the clock. Then they came back in the middle of a play and then cut out again. Now they are back to the commentators in the booth.

I swear, NFL.com just had this pop up on their scoreboard:

HIGHLIGHT ALERT:
CHARLIE WHITEHURST HOLDS ON TO THE BALL

Seriously. I don’t know what was going on in that game, and if there was a real highlight associated with that, but I found that hilarious.

Tim Tebow is comically bad. Denver has clearly given up on their season if they’re keeping him in.

RE: Seattle - I don’t know how much is Whitehurst and how much is the loss of Lynch. Their offense has never done much when Lynch has been out. But on the whole they are missing so many starters on offense its pretty ridiculous - QB, RB, TE, C are all backups at this point.

Edit: And the Seahawks just got screwed on what should have been a punt return for a TD.

THE DOLPHINS HAVE SCORED A TOUCHDOWN

Yes, that’s pretty big news. It’s only the second TD they’ve scored in October.

And because they’re just that awful, they go for 2 for no reason and don’t get it.

MEGATRON ACTIVATE

Indeed!

With 7 minutes left, the Dolphins have a 15-0 lead. They may well get their first win here, but I would tune in at this point to see how they attempt to give it away.

Tebow is 3/10 so far today and the Broncos have 2 net passing yards on the day.

And yet as always happens, even when a new QB plays like shit and the team wins, everyone will say that he provided the ‘spark’ that gave them the win…

That’s probably not going to happen today. :)

Meanwhile, Revis with a massive INT for the Jets to put them in scoring position, just as the Chargers were looking like they were going to extend their lead. Huge swing.

Alright, I’m going to be picking up whichever defense is playing Denver in all the FF leagues. The Phins already have six sacks! Of course Tebow just threw a TD.

Dolphins implosion imminent!
