Colts would be having issues winning games even with Manning but Manning would be able to keep the offense on the field for sustained drives. That translates to less time for the defense to have to be on the field overall so maybe they stay a bit fresher in the second half.
So here’s the remaining MNF schedule:

Pathetic.

Good god. Will Rams at Seahawks set an all time low for MNF viewership?
Ever since MNF went to ESPN, I’ve thought of it more as the old Sunday night football, with the “real” MNF now on Sunday night. The fact that NBC can flex better matchups into Sunday night while ESPN is stuck with irrelevant junk games does nothing to change my opinion on that front.

Giants/Saints could be good, as could Steelers/49ers and Falcons/Saints. But yeah, a lot of those games are awful.
Wait wait wait, the Jaguars got two Monday Night games? What the fuck led to that?

No, that’s not the problem, the problem is that a QB can have a perfect passer rating. That should not be possible, unless he throws a 99 yard touchdown on every pass.

And perfect games shouldn’t be possible in baseball either unless every pitch is a strike!
Realistically, I like the perfect game; if you design a system without a perfect game, you get ESPN’s QBR stat. And that stat sucks for reasons said better elsewhere.

Miami and Indy are going for Luck in different ways. Miami is finding ways to lose winnable games, Indy is putting together a full 60 minutes of terrible football. My money is on the team that’s consistent, Miami may run into a team that wants it less than they do.

Well, what you were saying was how everyone will fawn over the QB who comes up with a last minute rally and ignore how bad he was up to that point, and that’s not what’s happening. As much as Tebow’s comeback has been a big story, I’ve not seen one highlight or article about the game that hasn’t hammered home how godawful Tebow was for the first 55 minutes. No one is ignoring his futility for the first 3 3/4 quarters.
And if you scroll back, you’ll notice that at 15-0, I totally callled that Miami would do everything in their power to give the game away. :)

I think we can agree that the QB rating system has many, many problems. :)

I’m amazed that their defense did just that badly. I mean, the Saints have a great offense and all but, their run game hasn’t been all that great this season. Tonight they had 236 yards rushing split pretty evenly across three backs: 91 for Ingram, 88 for Sproles and 57 for Thomas.

But I’m sure you remember it every year when the last undefeated team of the season finally loses.
Judging from last night Vikings vs Packers could be good.
This is the first season I’ve ever done NFL Sunday Ticket. I have every game available to me now. So why am I barely watching football all of a sudden? This is confusing.
Maybe you burnt yourself out from watching too many games early on. Weren’t you pretty hot and heavy with the NFL package during the first several weeks?
The bloom is off the rose, so to speak. Now that the initial passion has died down and the NFL wants a commitment, Bowyer’s wavering. Sure, the games might not be dressed up all pretty like they were in weeks 1 and 2, but there’s still maybe one out of a dozen each weekend that’s worth loving.
Why are you afraid of commitment, Matt Bowyer? What more can the NFL give to you? WHY WON’T YOU JUST LOVE THEM?
