The outside perception of Belichick was shattered for me after watching him on A Football Life. I can’t help but think of him as a closely guarded, mastermind of a football coach…but also probably a decent guy who really cares.

If it helps any remember NFL films followed him the entire season and obviously only what Belicheck approved made it to final cut because all they had was less than two goddamned hours.

Rather ironic considering how much he loved film during his Spygate years. And don’t forget how when the Pats went 18-1 he was calling timeouts at the end of games to run up the score. He was pissed about being nailed over Spygate.

Don’t they still have Philip Tanner, and I’ guess Felix is coming along rather well. Though, its odd, weren’t there a lot of teams interested in picking him up through a trade since I think the trade deadline was around the time Javid Best had a concussion?

The Cowboys still have Tanner and Murray, but that does leave them with just two RBs for the game against the Eagles. I guess they really really needed that LB back.

Cowboys do have Tanner as the backup to Murray, but it’s a really weird move to release Choice the day before a game.

Choice has been on the verge of being cut or traded by the Cowboys for a while actually. Injuries and the lack of consistency at the RB position is the main reason it hasn’t happened before now. I like Choice and hoped he would hang on but he has fumbled in two games straight and Murray looks like he can be a credible replacement. The typical mismanagement by Jerry Jones is more to blame for him being cut now instead of traded, another missed opportunity similar to the one a few years ago when they could have traded TE Martellus Bennet for a 1st round pick from the Bengals. They didn’t and Bennett has been a huge disappointment. I really wish Jerry would hire a real GM but that will never happen.

It’s bad enough I’m watching the [fucking] Giants, but man, Eli, could you have possibly looked worse on that 4th-down conversion attempt? Your guy’s bracketed in the end zone and not only do you still go to him, you overthrow him terribly and give ball right back to the Dolphins around the 35.

Rams are playing better in all areas of the game. Better offense, better defense. Rams blocked a punt and got another TD. First time Saints been shut out in first half since … a long time. Howie’s son is playing like his dad used to. Rams defense are looking absolutely great. Yes, I wrote that.
