Tavaris Jackson is having the worst game of his short Seahawk career. The more I watch this team, the more convinced I am that they had a plan for the QB position and that plan was Carson Palmer. Carroll inherited the core of a good defense, and they are improving. They’ve added a running back, receivers, and a tight end and are arguably set at the skill positions for several years. And they’ve invested their last two first round picks in the offensive line. This is not a team built around the idea of rookie QB coming in year 3 of the Petey era.

The question is: now what?

Ugh, I hate the prevent. The Niners stop attacking on defense and all of a sudden instead of only giving up a 59 yard field goal, they’re only up by one score and have to defend an onside kick. When you’ve had multiple three and outs and stopped them on fourth down twice, just keep doing what you’re doing.

So I’m flipping around, and see the ads for next week’s games a couple times. On the Giants game, they say America’s Game of the Week is Giants vs Niners. On the Green Bay game they say it’s Bears vs Lions. Note to Fox: if it’s regional, it’s not America’s Game of the Week.

Man, Tebow is terrible. He should’ve been called for an illegal foreward pass there, and he’s been tossing the ball nowhere near anyone this whole drive. If the Raiders could just go five plays without a penalty this game wouldn’t be close.
