95 yard drive, almost every yard from Tebows legs and arm.

He really does Just Win.

Wow

The shot of Elway in the coach’s box after the TD was priceless. “This little effer is gonna mess around and cost me 10 picks’ worth of draft position.”

And now Cromartie wastes five seconds to lose 6 yards of field position.

Wait, now Sanchez has his chance!

Hahahahaha

Time for Sanchez to show us what he’s made of.

Hahahaha

SANCHIZE DOWN. Von Miller!

9 of 20 passing and 104 yards? I think that might be a career high for Tebow.

I did not pick that one.

Now both the Jets and Denver are 5-5 and the Broncos have the tiebreaker for the wildcard.

Believe ye heathens!

lmao

What the hell, Jets? Best pass defense in the league and you lose to the Broncos? I didn’t watch this game, but I’d love to see the film to see wtf happened, other than Sanchez’ pick-6.

While I’m not sold on Tebow as an NFL QB it’s really unusual for bad QBs to drive their team 95 yards for a TD to win the game late in the 4th. That’s some cool football.

The next 10 days until the next Denver game of media gushing over Tebow is going to make me ill.

Yep. I’ve bashed him a lot since he got to the NFL, but he gets more out of the 10% of good football he plays to offset the 90% of godawful football he plays until crunch time.

The great thing is, even as you look at the game it’s obvious that they won because their defense really fucking locked down the Jets, plus also scored a TD. And as you look at Tebow’s stats you see that he once again played terribly (under 50% completion, on not a whole lot of attempts). But he led The Drive To Win The Game, on which he completed a whole three passes, so the narrative is basically inescapable.

At the risk of sounding like a total asshole (which, of course, means I’m about to be a total asshole): this thread is going to tell us a lot about who actually understands football vs. who doesn’t in the coming day or two.

I’d leave it at that, except that’s sort of passive aggressive, so here goes: anyone who thinks this game shows Tebow is anything less than a bad quarterback simply doesn’t understand football.

I don’t think anyone here will claim Tebow is even an average QB, some of us are just sort of giddy that he keeps helping Denver win despite his ineptitude for most of the game.

Loved the expression on Rex’s face!

I’m actually fascinated with the wording of the statement.

According to what you just wrote, anyone who thinks [this game shows Tebow is bad, or worse than bad] doesn’t understand football? So you’re saying this game shows Tebow is [better than “bad quarterback”]?

I just want to make sure I understand what you’re saying. The wording is weird, if nothing else. :)

Wow, did I screw that one up!

I meant the opposite. Anyone who takes this game as evidence that Tebow is anything more than a bad quarterback &c. &c.
