Heh looks like the denver game is close enough for another Tebow 4th quarter comeback. I have no rooting interest in Tebow or Denver, but I just want to see all the NFL analysts heads explode as they keep trying to saw how awful he is while he still wins almost all the games he plays in.

I’d say the Chargers should fire Norv Turner after this kick goes through, but what’s the point? At 4-7, the season is over. The time to fire him was when I said they needed to weeks ago when they might have been able to salvage the season.

Except that there is a strong presumption that teams do not win when one of their bad player happens to be their quarterback. (Didn’t we learn anything from Rex Grossman in 2006?)

At this point Mr. just wins Tebow is just funny to watch. He sneaks out wins with his defense keeping the score low to make it even possible. The two missed SD field goals were luck too.

Usually not if the quarterback is awful. So many of the NFL analysts talk about Tebow like he is the worst QB ever. He wins and is able to make 4th quarter comebacks which is huge in the NFL. That to me argues strongly against his being a bad qb.

Until the Broncos start to lose it’s going to be hard to replace Tebow. I wonder what Elway thinks?

Anyway, I’d take Tebow over Trent Dilfer and Dilfer won a Superbowl.
