An easy long touchdown with a great block on a db by Larry Fitzgerald to spring it.

I don’t mind smashmouth football (I played in a Wing-T offense in high school), but you’ve got to admit these are some derp-tastic offenses on display in this game.

Jesus the Packers are destroying the Raiders.

That type of game sounds pretty awesome. This Bears/Broncos game isn’t anything like that, though. Especially for Bears fans like me, who have to watch one of the worst QB/OL combos in the NFL.

It wouldn’t be a Cardinals/Niners game without some madness.

It’s one of those games where I’m actually a little disappointed every time they run in a touchdown, because that’s a TD that could have gone to pad Rodgers’ stats and maybe help him break a record somewhere.

More seriously, though, it’s good to see Rodgers playing up to his normal level after a down couple of weeks.

Okay, I admit it’s better when two good offensive teams are forced into that style of game because the defense on the other side is so good. The Bears and Tebows are pretty ugly offensively on their best day. Still, I enjoy a good old fashioned slogging through the mire type game sometimes. This one doesn’t exactly meet the expectations of the type of game I was referring to, but it least it isn’t as awful as almost every Cincy-Cleveland game has been for the last ten years.

The Raiders today? Not so good.

Shamefully bad. Lorini must be gnashing her teeth and kicking her dogs right now.

That game shouldn’t have even been close. Bad officiating all around. That being said, the Titans defense was playing really well and Locker looked pretty good.

That said, Robinson is the worst DB in the whole of the gawdam NFL. Why is he playing in every game? He’s close to costing Saints games every week and truth be told he could have gotten a pass interference call on the last play of the game, had there been any time left. Was he great when he was at Florida State? Right now I’m starting to sweat every time I see he’s on the field. He hasn’t even grasped the simple fact that when you’re a cornerback you’re supposed to contain outside runs. Thank heavens for Tracy Porter.

Robinson is pretty awful. I had some hope for him early in the season, but the dude can’t cover shit. Our defensive backfield is already pretty soft without him giving up huge plays every game.

He does look pretty good; give him a full receiving corps and a fit Cop Speed next year, they’ll be a team to beat.

I had a post all ready to post about how things just aren’t going right for them at all. I mean, they appear to have a fumble return for a TD, but then it’s ruled an incomplete pass AND an illegal blocking penalty on the “fumble” run back still counts and gives the Packers 1st down on the 4.

… but then Rodgers threw his third-ever red zone INT, so it worked out okay for them.

… but then Palmer, after marching down the field, throws his own end-zone INT, so yeah.

Why, oh why, did I start Carson Palmer this week?!

I’m superstitious enough that Phil Simms saying “after today’s loss” about a game AT HALFTIME makes me a bit nervous.

Okay, so this is crazy: The Packers’ Cobb clearly steps out of bounds on the 36, but on the field they don’t call him down until like the 50. Raiders challenge… and are told that the replay machine is broken, so they can’t challenge, and the play stands as called. I didn’t even know that was possible.

Shoulda asked me, I would have told you that you would be crazy to start him :)

Dogs are safe because I stopped watching after the second Palmer INT. Like I said when the Raiders got him, he’s not worth two first round draft picks. I don’t think the Raiders are even going to make the playoffs, not to mention the AFC Championship game, they just don’t care enough to discipline themselves and win tough games.

I was really pulling for Palmer, 'cause I like the guy. But man, he’s awful. He can make the throws, but he frequently makes them to the wrong person. My alternative was Josh Freeman.

So does Rivers just have tiny hands or something? He’s had some bizarre fumbles in his career.

It’s the 4th quarter, Denver is down 10-zip and Tebow has only made 3 passes; I can only assume this means Denver is going to win.

And sure enough, after not completing a pass since the first quarter, Tebow has now completed 4 in a row and has the Broncos on the move.

Except for that fumble, which the Bears fall on.

And… here we go! Tebow time!

Touchdown Tebows!!
