What a crazy morning. Denver winning could push today into surreal territory.

Also, I’d like to take a moment to do some homer crowing: GEAUX SAINTS. New Orleans has been, arguably, a better team than Green Bay over this last stretch of the season. They’ve played better in pretty much every way over the past 6 weeks with a marginally tougher schedule. Better defense, far superior rushing game, and better quarterback play. Over the past 6 games Brees has 1 interception, 18 touchdowns, 72.8 completion percentage and 2034 yards. Rodgers is 3, 16, 62.9 and 1741 over the same stretch.

Not that this reflects badly on the Packers at all, they are still playing amazing football and Rodgers is — probably — the best QB in the league right now, but the Saints are having one of the best seasons of the Brees/Payton era and it’s really exciting for a New Orleans fan.
