I want to see Janikowski attempt a 75 yard field goal.

edit: Well, that was a let-down.

That was pathetic by the Raiders.

Henceforth, the term “tebowing” will be used to refer to anyone running 30 yards down the field the wrong way.

They suck. With the Jets losing this was a great opportunity, and yet again stupid penalties killed them.

I pull for the Raiders, I really do, but they should have won that game. Palmer has the best game he’s had since coming to Oakland, DHB has a monster game, good rushing game and they still lose. Awful. Almost 90 yards of penalties.

The Cards are easily the best losing team in the league right now.

Well now we will get all the ‘experts’ patting themselves on the back about how they were so right about Tebow being the worst QB ever in the NFL.

If they are honest, yes. Most of them will pad it a bit so as not to offend the millions…and millions…of people like you that watch football and can’t understand why rational people see Tebow for what he is. A great guy that isn’t an NFL level quarterback.

He is an NFL level QB who is 7-2 as a starter this year and just lost to one of the best teams in the NFL this year. That doesnt make him one of the worst QBs in the history of the nfl like some of the ‘experts’ and people with an irrational hatred of Tebow try and spin things.

Denver can’t beat a team with a solid offense with Tebow. They beat the Raiders sure, but the Raiders lost that one more than Denver won it. Actually, if Kansas City wins their next two, and Denver loses to Buffalo (which I think is very possible), and Oakland loses to San Diego, then KC gets the AFC West title at 8-8. Crazy huh?

One thing that will be interesting to see is this, the ‘experts’ kept saying Tebow has zero to do with the wins because it was all the defense. That same defense allowed 42 points and Tebow wasn’t able to make a comeback to win. Will he be given all the blame now and the failure of the defense ignored?

No, he won’t. Next question?

NFL Network’s reporting that Johnny Knox is having surgery to “stabilize a verterbre in his back”.

Could you expand more? Why do you think the ‘experts’ who hate Tebow will all of a sudden not blame him for the loss?

I really don’t want to get drawn into any Tebow debates but it’s silly to say he isn’t an NFL level quarterback at this point. There are tiers of QBs in the league: bad, mediocre, good, elite. Bad ones are actively losing games for their teams, which Tebow isn’t doing. Tebow is firmly in that mediocre bracket along with a lot of other guys. His throwing is awful, but getting better. He protects the ball insanely well, runs it better than a lot of running backs in the league and doesn’t make a lot of bad decisions (and when he does he usually overthrows the receiver by a mile anyway). Would you take Curtis Painter or Blaine Gabbert over Tebow right now? What about Sam Bradford or Tarvaris Jackson? I’d probably still go with Tebow. What about Joe Flacco even? I might even take Tebow over Flacco. Is Tebow a good quarterback? Not by a long shot, but I don’t see anything that disqualifies him from being an “NFL level” quarterback.

Damn, that is never a place you want to have to have surgery on. Hope it all goes well for him.

No, people didn’t say he had nothing to do with the wins. They said he made it more difficult than it should have been, and that the defense kept Denver in close games until the offense finally got things done in the last five minutes.

You do realize that Tebow Himself fumbled the ball today that directly led to a NE score? Their defense got ripped apart today, but the offense and special teams of Denver helped them out immensely by coughing up the ball.

There’s no shadow group that exists out there to orchestrate hate on little Timmy Tebow, so there’s no need to explain further.

Goddamnit, I have him on ignore and he’s shitting up a thread.

Then you havent watched ESPN or listened to any sports talk radio, there have been people who have consistantly said how awful Tebow is no matter what he does or how many games he won.

In a side question, if you don’t want to actually discuss or explain things you say, why are you even posting in this thread?

HAI2U. Saints looked impressive today.

The worrisome part of the Packers loss was the loss of more offensive linemen.
