According to this the Eagles are still in the playoff hunt. I think they only can do so by winning the division. They need to win both of their next two games while Dallas loses their next 2, that will leave both teams tied at 8-8. It helps that Philadelphia plays Dallas. I believe Philadelphia would be tied with 1-1 with Dallas then, and I have not idea who would end up with the tie breaker. Complicating matter worse, the Giants are 7-7 and are likely to end up 8-8 with their remaining schedule. I really don’t know who comes out of that mess.
Technically the Eagles could still take it, but in reality its very unlikely.

This is what I got from the NFL site for tiebreaks with 3 or more teams in same division.

This is the current records for each team against one another and any remaining games they have versus each other.
NY Giants (2-1) - Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys (0-2) - Eagles and Giants
Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) - Cowboys
So the Eagles would have to win out, have the Giants lose next week, but need the Giants to win versus the Cowboys? That would give them the number two tiebreaker for the division since if they win out they would be like 5-1 in their division.
I don’t think they can make the playoffs any other way since Detroit and Atlanta are both 9-5 and there are only two games left.

OK now I see it. It will come down to the division wins/losses if they all end up at 8-8. Eagles would have beaten the Cowboys twice, so they win that tie breaker. They would tie with the Giants head to head but have a better division record, so they would go. I’m not sure that’s real unlikely. I think the Eagles can win in Dallas, Dallas can suck at times as we’ve all seen. And who knows what’s with Eli, they could easily lose to the Jets but still beat the Cowboys.
Honestly, I think the Eagles chances are as good as any of the rest of them. I also think this is more interesting than the loser bowl AFC West.
I hear radio guys say exactly what Brandon said they say every single day. last week some local guys spent the first hour of their show talking about whether or not they should talk about Tebow, culminating in them both agreeing that they hoped the Broncos closed out the season 0-3 and were never heard from again.
Number of other teams they hope they never hear about again the rest of the season: 0
Damn Raiders. They were up 14 on Detroit with <5 minutes and lose. That was costly. Now all Detroit has to do is win one of their two and they lock up the last Wild Card. If the Raiders had won, the Lions would have needed to win their final two games, including the finale at Green Bay.
The 7-7 Seahawks choking that 10 point lead to the 'Skins is really haunting us, especially since we have the tiebreaker over the 7-7 Giants and the 7-7 Bears.
If nobody has scored by the end of the overtime period, blammo, tie game.

The Eagles have roughly a nine percent chance of winning the division. It’s almost impossible for an NFC East team to get a wild card at this point. It’s division winner or bust for those teams.
This is for Damien and Uncle Larry:

No, tebowing should refer to the practice of digging yourself a hole and then sometimes getting out of it at the end and sometimes not.
Isn’t that just called “being mediocre”?
I think the Eagles have a good shot at winning the division. They get to take care of business next week against Dallas and then finish at home against the Redskins.
It’s really the Cowboys to lose, but they have to step up and beat the Eagles or the Giants.
And the Giants have to beat the Jets this week and the Jets of course really need to win too.
So if the Cowboys lose to the Eagles this week and the Jets beat the Giants, we have a very interesting finish.

In that situation the Giants only have one shot to make it to the playoffs: a win against the Cowboys and an Eagles loss in week 17. The 'boys are the only team that’s fully in control of its playoff chances.
Jezus, I wake up, turn on NFL Network, and it’s Skip Bayless and some other dude spending forever debating on whether Tebow is getting better.
Fuck it. The guy wins, they talk about him. He loses, they talk about him. I give up. All Fucking Hail Tebow. It’s like brainwashing.
I really think it has to be circular. Everyone talks about Tebow because everyone is talking about Tebow. Normally I’d assume it’s what consumers want – like, say, Tiger Woods news – and shrug my shoulders, but this is the media so I think it’s safe to say they’re probably just idiots.

Except they are playing two teams that have already beat them. Whereas the Eagles are playing two teams that they’ve already beat. The Boys are appropriately assessed the lowest chance to get to the playoffs out of all the current division leaders, but I would give the Eagles at least a 30% chance. Who knows which Eli will show up against the Jets, just as who knows which Sanchez will show up. That game is a total tossup. And then the Giants have to beat the Cowboys at home, where they just got beat by a team that is not going to the playoffs.
The whole thing is wtf. I give them all a 33% chance to make the playoffs.
No. If the Giants beat the Jets and they beat the Cowboys they will win the NFC east. They will be 9-7 and possibly tied with the Cowboys, which they will win the tiebreaker by beating them twice.
Tebow is all that fucking idiot Skip Bayless wants to talk about. He is the original Tebow Super Fan.

From what ESPN said, if the Giants, Cowboys and Eagles finish tied at 8-8, the Eagles will win that tiebreaker.
And more comically, according to NBC last night, if the Chargers, Broncos, Raiders and Chiefs all finish 8-8, the division winner would be … the Chiefs. Which would be AWESOME.
The Kansas City Star stops just short of supporting Romeo Crennel for sainthood. After we lose next week, they’ll probably call for his head. I love sports media!
