That’s because Rich Gannon is not a very good color commentator. Wish we had Dierdorf.
I guess it’s Tebow time.
Jeezus SD thanks much!

Gosh Jesus forgot poor Tebow AGAIN. how could gawd let him throw an INT??

The Lord doth move in mysterious ways. I think Jesus figured he could help Tebow more by focusing his attention on the San Diego - Oakland game.
Can’t blame Tebow for that because it was 4th down so you have to throw it, but you can blame him for a lot of other dismal passes this game.
Anyway, apparently God wants Tebow in the playoffs because the Raiders decided they’d rather start their off season tomorrow.
Missed it by one game - how did the rest of the prognosticators do?
Damn, off by 1 game. So much for the Super Bowl loser hangover theory.
Fitzgerald is absolutely unreal.
Bloodbath in Earth City tomorrow morning: Rams firing GM Billy Devaney and HC Steve Spagnuolo.
Class guys, but they failed completely and totally, absolutely a justified house cleaning by Lord Stanley The K.

Yes, Gawd made sure the Oakland defense stayed in the locker room or at least they may as well have done so. I’m hoping to see a real house cleaning on the defensive side (since we’re stuck with Palmer) starting with the Defensive coordinator.
What a painful game to watch. And just think Palmer ONLY threw one INT!! Amazing.

Seems to me more like Dallas smelling the offseason.

This is not really a good day for the Ryans. Rex finishes loses to Miami and out of the playoffs at 8-8, and Rob’s defense is getting pwned right now.
I like the way 2012 has started!

Also, wacky stat of the day: After their 0-7 start, Miami finished the season with the best record of the three Florida teams.
We knew Jax would suck, but I really thought Tampa was going to be more competitive this year. I know they won a lot of close games last year, and there might be some falloff, but I didn’t think it would be this bad.
Yes, Dallas is sure stinking up the joint, but the Giants look like they’re finally starting to click. They look like they could do another Super Bowl run.
Sad Jerrah looks sad. Also looks like he aged a decade or two this season.

There are a lot of teams better than the Cowboys between the Giants and the Super Bowl. For example, every team in the playoffs.

In the NFC, true. But I suspect that even Dallas is better than Denver or perhaps even Cincinnati in the AFC.

Bull! The falcons or lions. Are beatable.

Guess the Giants sent their defense home for the 2nd half.:(

Welll, this just got interesting!
Cincinnati either needed a win or a lot of help to make the playoffs. They blew the former but apparently got the latter. The AFC North will claim both wild card spots, which is really quite an accomplishment despite how unremarkable Cincy looked down the stretch. Playing the NFC West and AFC South undoubtedly helped the division.
